Life can feel overwhelming at times, for each and every one of us. Not all of us will reach out to a therapist to help, but in doing so it can be a transformational choice.
You might notice your thoughts running in circles, your mood dipping, or unhelpful habits creeping in. You might notice relationships are suffering, stress levels are reaching breaking point, or that it’s hard to pinpoint a change in your wellbeing, you just don’t feel like you. And before long, everyday life feels harder than it should. Reaching out for support doesn’t mean something is wrong with you; it simply means you’re human. Just as we’d see a doctor if we had persistent physical pain, caring for our mental and emotional wellbeing deserves the same attention. Talking things through in a safe impartial space can make a real difference.
Therapy isn’t just for people in crisis – it can also be a space to press pause, reflect, and make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface. Many people I work with are juggling busy, stressful lives and find that therapy gives them the breathing room to reset. Together, we can explore what’s getting in the way, build clarity about what matters to you, and find practical ways forward.
My approach is integrative, which means I can adapt therapy to you, rather than expecting you to fit a particular model that I’ve trained in. Sometimes this looks like focusing on solutions and setting achievable goals (Solution Focused Therapy). Other times it’s about creating space for reflection and deeper understanding (Person-Centred Therapy). We might also use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to look at patterns of thoughts and behaviours, and how small shifts can create lasting change. The flexibility I can offer allows us to work in a way that feels both supportive and effective for your unique situation.
With over 10 years of experience and thousands of hours spent working with clients, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people from all walks of life — each with their own unique challenges and goals. I believe the best therapists never stop learning. By continuing with ongoing training and development, I’m able to expand my skills and bring even more value and flexibility to the work I do with clients. This means I can adapt therapy to suit you, whether you’re looking for practical strategies, deeper self-understanding, or simply the space to process and reflect.
If you’re ready to take that first step, I’d be glad to hear from you – use the contact form to get in touch.
