Meet the Team
Alongside my own practice, I work with a small team of carefully selected associate therapists. The following therapists have their own specialist training and experience, meaning between us we can offer support for a wide range of challenges — from anxiety, low mood and relationship difficulties, to trauma, overwhelm and life transitions. The Wellbeing Associates work to the same high standards of care and are often available at short notice, so you don’t have to wait to begin your therapy journey.
We offer a variety of therapeutic approaches including psychodynamic therapy, person-centred therapy, CBT and coaching. If you’re unsure which style might suit you best, click here to learn more about the different types of therapy and how to choose the right fit for you.

Morag Makey
Morag believes that change begins with connection. When you feel understood and accepted, you can start to make sense of your past and what’s happening in your present, and explore new ways forward. Research shows that the relationship between therapist and client is one of the most important parts of therapy — and she aims to build one with you that is genuine, supportive and a source of growth. She values authenticity, compassion and joy and hopes to help you on this path.
Morag is particularly interested in supporting clients throughout times of transition: studying, career shifts, relationships, gender and sexuality, menopause, or cultural and financial changes. Having experienced many of these herself, she knows how both challenging and transformative they can be.
Morag works with warmth, empathy, humour, and gentle honesty to help you explore what matters to you. You don’t need to have clear goals before starting — many people just know they want to talk, or would like to feel differently. Morag will help you figure things out together, at your pace.
Morag is an Integrative Counsellor and Coach, which means she combines approaches to suit your needs. She has a focus on the mind-body connection, Positive Psychology (what helps people flourish), and the role of community and connection in wellbeing.
Morag’s background is in education and social justice, working across adolescent, SEND, Deaf, and leadership settings in the UK and internationally. In addition to native English, she has professional fluency in British Sign Language (BSL) and conversational Spanish.
Morag works exclusively online, providing total flexibility for session locations, wherever you are in the world. Her practice is inclusive and diversity-affirming, welcoming people of all ages, identities, and abilities.
“Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?”
